    Guwahati: 45 students of reputed residential school flees at night

    The students alleged that they were served poor quality food in the school in Azara.

    Guwahati: A total of 45 students of a reputed residential school in city reportedly fled the school premises on the night of March 1.

    The students alleged that they were served poor quality food in the school. They were brought to the Azara Police Station, where all the 45 students were reportedly kept overnight.

    Later, the students were handed over to the school authorities. However, the police have asked to sort the matter internally between the school authorities and guardians.

    Reportedly, Azara police said that this was a disciplinary action and not a criminal case.

    Meanwhile, the school at Azara have not revealed anything regarding the incident as of now.
