Guwahati: In a shocking incident, the dead body of a man was recovered from the Chandmari area of Guwahati on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as Raju Chetry (35).
The body has been recovered by police from his own residence, said sources.
As per sources, police suspected that a man died due to excessive consumption of alcohol.
The body was lying at his residence since two-three days, local claimed.
The body has been sent for post-mortem.
Police started the initial investigation. Further details are awaited.
