A 26-year-old girl from Guwahati, who was on a trip to Himachal Pradesh, went missing after falling into Parvati river in Kasol, a small hamlet in Kullu district. The girl has been identified as Priyanka.
As per information, Priyanka and another girl Komal (24) of Darjeeling in West Bengal were having fun and taking selfie on the bank of the Parvati river in Kasol of Manikarn Valley. During this time, both slipped and fell into the river. However, Komal was rescued by the locals but Priyanka went missing.
While confirming the incident, the Kullu Superintendent of Police Gaurav Singh said, “The rescue forces have been pressed into service.”
