Guwahati: In a shocking case of ragging in educational institutions in Assam, a group of senior students at Guwahati’s private school thrashed a student’s father for objecting in which his child was a victim.

As per sources, a student of Gurukul Grammar School studying in class XI was allegedly ragged by his seniors.

Victim’s father saw his son being beaten, when the father went to save, he also thrashed by students.

The incident has left everyone shocked with many demanding the accused students be punished for their act.

Last year, a senior student allegedly stole a gold necklace from a junior student at the Assam Engineering Institute (AEI) in the guise of ragging. Furthermore, the victim junior year student was allegedly undressed and tormented. The seniors also used filthy language at him and thrashed the rookie.
