Guwahati: The Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati (IIT-G) resumed all its classes in physical mode. More than 7,400 students were now attending classes in the premier institute.

As per the IITG authority, the institute has all Covid-19 related precautions in place, and has been hosting a massive vaccine drive to ensure the safety of its students.

The IITG was the first among IITs to start offline classes back in March 2022.

“This will facilitate more intellectual interaction among the community and benefit everyone, including those who were dependent for their livelihoods on the IIT-G campus,” the institute’s director T G Sitharam said in a statement.
