Guwahati: Danish soft rock and pop rock band Michael Learns to Rock, popularly known as MLTR, will groove music lovers in the state on November 27 at Jonki Panoi Khetra, Sonapur in Guwahati.

The event titled Indian Open Air 2022 shall feature the soft rock sensation from Denmark with all their ‘Back on the Road tour’ playing all their greatest hits.

A few other homegrown local acts from India will be sharing the stage with the soft rock giants such as Girish and the Chronicles, Trance Effect, Voodoo Child, Serpents of Pakhangba, and Flying Cupid among others.

“It gives us immense pleasure to announce that Rockarolla Events, Urban Mantra & E365 Group of Companies have come together to host – Indian Open Air, a brand-new rock concert IP in the Gateway of Northeast – Guwahati,” said a statement.

The band will play in six other Indian towns, including Tura in Meghalaya on December 1 and Aizawl on November 25.

MLTR had performed in the city in 2015 too and in Shillong in 2005.

The 1988-formed band MLTR has sold over 11 million records over the course of its career.
