Guwahati: Assam PWD minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Tuesday inaugurated Multi-Level Parking at Kamakhya Temple in Guwahati.
The project, under the ‘Prasad’ scheme, is being implemented by the Assam Tourism Development Corporation (ATDC).
The Rs 30.70 crore projects also include several components, which is under construction.
The inaugural programme was also attended by ATDC chairperson Jayanta Malla Baruah and Guwahati MP Queen Ojha.
Sarma took Twitter to inform about the inauguration. He wrote: “With the blessing of Ma Kamakhya, inaugurated projects worth Rs 30.70 cr at Kamakhya Temple in #Guwahati today. Among these, Multi Level Parking has been completed & several other projects are under construction. ATDC Chairman @jayanta_malla & MP @oja_queen present.”

It is expected that the multi-level car parking system will be able to solve the problem that the visitors and tourists have been facing for long while visiting the Kamakhya Temple.
