    Guwahati Police track Ambulance selling Vegetables during Lockdown

    The police have identified the persons behind the incident

    Guwahati: Amidst the lockdown in Guwahati due to the ongoing novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, few persons belonging to an ambulance service were reportedly found violating norms of the lockdown.

    As per sources, some ambulances in the Dispur area were seen selling vegetables in the ambulance itself. The police were informed by some sources about the activity and immediately a team of the Dispur police rushed to the spot and detained the vehicle along with the vegetables.

    The police said that they have identified all the persons involved in the alleged violations and strict actions will be taken against these persons.

    It may be mentioned that the administration has restricted all sorts of shops except for medicals related establishments and petrol pumps in the city during the lockdown. Strict actions have been sought against the violators of the lockdown.
