Guwahati: In an unfortunate incident, three vehicles collided at an intersection near Latasil field in Guwahati in the wee hours of Saturday.
The vehicles – one Tata DI, a city bus and a car were badly damaged along with property destruction after the bus hit the shops near pavement.
However, the drivers of both the DI and the city bus managed to flee the accident spot.
According to eye witnesses, the Di was over-speeding and collided with the city bus. In the meantime, the car coming from the Barowari side crashed in the mishap.
The passengers in the car have received injuries but no casualties have been reported as of now.
The Traffic branch of Latasil reached the spot and is investigating the matter further.
