Hand-made bomb found in Assam-Mizoram border

Guwahati: Cachar police on Saturday found a hand-made bomb near the Assam-Mizoram border in Cachar district of Assam.

The bomb was buried under earth in Dholai Thulisor area in Cachar district. The bomb will be investigated after the bomb squad reach the site.

However, the reason and intension behind burying the bomb has yet to be ascertained.

The police officials have put the area under barricade. No media-persons have been allowed to enter the area.

It is also to be noted that earlier, Mizoram miscreants allegedly bombed two schools in the area.
