Haryana Crime Branch launches operation against Int’l car theft racket in Guwahati

Guwahati: The sleuths of the crime branch, Haryana Police along with crime branch Assam police launched an operation against an international car theft racket in the Lalmati area in Guwahati.

As per a police report, the racket is reportedly controlled from Nagaland’s Dimapur.

The crime branch of the Haryana police didn’t disclose the investigations of the case.

However, it is learned that the racket was actively operating in Haryana for the last couple of months.

The gang allegedly stole several luxury vehicles from Haryana and fled to Guwahati.

So far no arrests have been made in connection to the case.

Further investigations are on.
