Guwahati: High-level meeting held to review security situation in Assam
A high-level meeting to review the prevailing security situation in the Northeast and Assam in particular was held on Saturday in view of Assam Assembly elections.
The meeting by the Operation Group was chaired by GOC, Gajrai Corps at Narangi Cantt. It was attended by Assam DGP Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta and other senior functionaries of State Administration, Security Agencies and Army.
The Defence PRO informed via Twitter regarding the meeting. They wrote: “The Op Group meeting chaired by GOC, Gajraj Corps held on 06 Mar 21 at Narangi Cantt to review the prevailing security situation in the North East & Assam in particular. @DGPAssamPolice & other senior functionaries of State Adm, Security Agencies & Army attended the meeting.”
