Assam HS Results 2019: Here’s The Top 10 Position Holders In Commerce Stream

The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) announced the results of Higher Secondary(HS) Examination 2019 on May 25th, 2019. The results were declared at 9 am.

In the commerce stream, a total of 17,797 candidates appeared for the examination and 15,589 cleared their examination. 3,796 candidates scored first division, 5,303 scored second division and 3,490 scored third division marks.

Out of 17,797 students, 8,443 were males and 3081 were females. The pass percentage among the male candidates stands at 89.46 and female at 93 per cent.

A total of 2,360 male candidates and 706 female candidates appeared for the HS examination from private institutions. On the other hand, 810 male candidates and 190 female candidates appeared from non-private institutions.

Here’s the complete list of the top 10 position holders:

Ashim Sarkar from Cachar’s Vivekanand Junior College topped the Assam HS examinations 2019 in the commerce stream. He scored 474 marks.

Two students secured the second position by securing 468 marks. Nibedita Gogoi from Crescent Academy, Jorhat and Ayushi Jain from KC Das Commerce College, Kamrup(R).

Neha Agarwalla from Gauhati Commerce College, Kamrup(R) secured the third position by scoring 465 marks. Arunabh Nath from Gauhati Commerce College, Kamrup(R) secured the fourth position by scoring 461 marks.

Rahul Roy from Gauhati Commerce College, Kamrup(R) secured the fifth position. He scored 460 marks.

Two candidates secured the sixth position. Tanisha Alampuria from Geetanjali Jr College, Nagaon and Ankur Baruah from RD Jr College, Tinsukia secured 459 marks.

Three candidates secured the seventh position by scoring 458 marks. Hansika Chawla from KC Das Commerce College, Kamrup(M), Harsh Golchha from Karimganj Jr College of Science, Hailakandi and Pratibha Baishya from Nalbari Commerce College, Nalbari.

Disha Jain from KC Das Commerce College, Kamrup(M) and Priyanshu Agarwalla, Margherita College, Tinsukia secured the eight position by scoring 457 marks.

Brinda Roy from Vivekanda Jr College, Cachar and Mithlesh PD Sharma from RD Jr College, Tinsukia secured the ninth position by scoring 455 marks.

Three candidates from KC Das Commerce College, Kamrup(M), managed to secure the tenth position by scoring 454 marks. Muskaan Pachisia, Jagruti Sethia and Ishika Agarwal.
