Guwahati: The All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) on Tuesday asked the Board of Secondary Education Assam (SEBA) to declare the High School Leaving Certificate Examination (HSLC) 2022 results by June first week.
The student organization has requested the authority to do the needful to declare the results on time so that the students wouldn’t face any hassle for pursuing further studies.
On Tuesday, an AASU delegation discussed the matter with SEBA officials at the latter’s office in the city.
AASU general secretary Shankar Jyoti Baruah told media, “We have requested SEBA to declare results within the first week of June for the students’ benefit. The authorities have assured us that they were working to declare the results as soon as possible.”
Sources in the SEBA said that the authority has been working round the clock to prepare the results soon. However, the dates for declaring the results were yet to be announced officially.
SEBA had conducted HSLC 2022 exams from March 15, 2022 to March 31, 2022 at many examination centres of Assam’s districts.
