    The Helem police and the Biswanath police jointly seized a huge consignment Arunachali wine in the wee hours of February 4th, 2020.

    Police recovered 600 cartoons of Arunachali wine without any valid document from two trucks and arrested four persons in this connection. “The arrestees will be forwarded to judicial custody,” Biswanath police said.

    Arrested accused

    It may be mentioned that the Helem police on the night of January 11th, 2020, had recovered 90 cartoons of Arunachali wine from a truck bearing registration number AS-07 AC-3188. The truck was en route to Tezpur without any document. Later, the police arrested the driver and handyman and sent to the judicial custody.
