Guwahati: ‘Alayaron’ meaning The Dawn is the first Bodo feature movie which was released on March 13, 1986, at Ganga Talkies in Kokrajhar.

The movie was directed by Jwngdao Bodosa from a screenplay by Nilkamal Brahma and Hiramba Narzary. The story is based upon the short story in Bodo language , ‘Mwdwi Arw Gwlwmdwi’.

The movie has star actors Amar Narzary and Rohila Brahma in the leading roles. Produced under Bodosa Film Production Society, the film has garnered the 33rd National Film Awards in 1986, for Best Feature Film in Bodo.
