    A video of an ENT surgeon from Assam dancing on popular song ‘Ghungroo’ wearing PPE kit has taken over the internet

    Guwahati: A video of an ENT surgeon from state dancing on popular song ‘Ghungroo’ wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) kit has taken over the internet.

    The one-minute-long video shows the surgeon who works at Assam’s Silchar Medical College and Hospital effortlessly dancing to the song in the protective gear.

    Sharing the video in Facebook Dr Arup Senapati wrote: “COVID duty over.. finally a dance number in PPE.. ghungroo to nahi tuti par face shield tut gayi last mein.. started loving silchar medical college”

    One of Senapati’s colleague Dr Syed Faizan Ahmadshared the video in Twitter.

    It is known that the performance took place in the recovery room at the hospital, in presence of a few patients and a team of doctors.

    Actor Hrithik Roshan, who originally danced to the song, also responded, praising the doctor for his moves and spirit. He Twitter: “Tell Dr Arup I’m gonna learn his steps and dance as good as him someday in Assam. Terrific spirit.”

    Netizens were in awe of the way Dr Arup was dancing and the video garnered over 15,000 ‘likes’ along with 2 lakh views and a ton of appreciative comments after being shared.
