    India Reports 3,970 New COVID-19 Cases

    India now stands at the 11th place in terms of cases reported surpassing China

    In the past 24 hours, India has marked 3,970 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) with at least 103 deaths.

    India now stands at the 11th place in terms of cases reported. India has officially reported 85,940 cases till the filing of this report and has surpassed China which has 82,941 total cases reported.

    Death toll reported in India is lower to the numbers reported in China with 2752 deaths while China, on the other hand, has reported 4,633 deaths.

    India has also seen 30,153 persons being recovered from the disease which is an estimated 35 per cent of the total reported cases.

    In terms of world rank, the United States of America has reported the highest number of cases with 14.7 lakh persons being infected with 2.60 lakh persons being discharged and 88,199 deaths.
