Insurgency In Northeast Is Almost Finished: Rajnath Singh

Rajnath Singh said that curbing insurgency in the Northeast has been his biggest achievement as home minister. He also said that Naxal violence is also on the wane in the country.

Among other things, Singh says as home minister, he worked, towards curbing insurgency in the Northeast and Naxalism in parts of the country.  “Insurgency in Northeast is almost finished,” he told PTI in an interview.

Asserting that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will come back to power, he said that people want the good governance of the Narendra Modi.

“The way Modiji has led the country at national and international levels in the last five years, there is not an iota of doubt about our win with three-fourths majority in these polls,” he told PTI in an interview.
