Job Aspirants Create Ruckus Over Anomalies In Conducting Exam By ONGC

Job aspirants created ruckus in front of the examination venue

Hundreds of job aspirants created ruckus at Maligaon and Chandmari in the city on June 14th, 2019 alleging anomalies in conducting the examination by the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC).

Candidates, who had to appear in the examination at the venues – Assam Online, Maligaon, and GATE Institute, Chandmari, alleged severe anomalies in conducting the examination.

One of the aspirant on condition of anonymity said, “The exam was about to start at 12. But, the irresponsible ONGC could not conduct the exam on time.” “Several computers became inoperative in this venue (Assam Online). It is inexcusable,” the candidate added.

Later, the police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel were called to venues to bring the situation under control.

The ONGC officials after the holding a meeting with the senior police officials assured the candidate of taking necessary steps in the matter.

The aspirants, who came from different parts of the state to appear in the exam, demanded a clarification from the ONGC.
