    Kalimpong: 2 killed, 4 critically injured as stampede breaks out at Mela

    Nepalese singer-rapper Ashish Rana aka Lahure performed at the musical night where the stampede broke out.

    Guwahati: In a tragic incident, two people were killed and four people are said to be in critical condition after a stampede broke out during as musical event at Mela ground in Kalimpong, West Bengal on Sunday evening.

    The deceased were identified as Anita Chettri (40) and Binita Chettri (46). According to reports, all the injured were immediately rushed to a district hospital.

    Nepalese singer-rapper Ashish Rana aka Lahure performed at the musical night where the stampede broke out.

    The police have registered a complaint against the organisers of the event.
