Guwahati: Assam’s famous annual Ambubachi Mela is to be held at Kamakhya Temple in Guwahati after a gap of two years in a row due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The development came following a meeting with temple authorities (Kamakhya Devalaya Management Committee) and the district administration of Kamrup Metro.

According to the latest reports, the rituals for the festival will begin on June 22, 2022, and will conclude on June 26, 2022.
