    Guwahati: The Kamrup Metro election district records the lowest voter turnout compared to other poll-bound constituencies in the third and final phase of polls in Assam.

    As per the Election Commission of India’s voter turnout app, the polling percentage in the Kamrup Metro election district is estimated to be around 75.84%.

    Of the12 poll-bound districts, South Salmara leads the horse race with 92.18% voter turnout and then comes Bilasipara and Dhubri with a polling percentage of 90.85% and 90.44% respectively.

    In Kamrup metro election district, the Jalukbari constituency leads the voterturnout percentage with 82.34%, on the other hand, Gauhati East lagged behind with 71.14% voter turnout.

    The numbers of male voterturnout were 43,74,78 whereas, female voters turnout were 43,65,95 out of a total 56,94,37 and 58,30,06 voters respectively.

    It is noteworthy to mention that the percentage of female voters compared to male voters is more in the Kamrup Metro district, although, voters’ turnout came out to be vice versa.

    Of the total 44 third gender voters, six had cast their votes at respective constituencies under Kamrup Metro district.

    With a total of seven tendered votes, the total vote polled in the Kamrup Metro election district was around 87,40,86.

    The final percentage of voting in four constituencies under Kamrup Metro election district is:

    Jalukbari: 82.34%  Dispur: 74.35%  Gauhati East: 71.14%  Gauhati West: 77.23%
