The Guwahati police has declared bounty on two most wanted criminals involved in the sensational Guwahati’s Kumarpara shoot out.
A bounty of Rs 25000 each has been announced for the arrest of the two most wanted criminals, Deepak Kumar, Commissioner of Police Guwahati informed.
“We have announced cash reward as a mark of encouragement who could help the police arrest the criminals. The identity of the informers will not be made public and will remain hidden,” said Kumar while addressing the media.
The CP further added that they are circulating the pictures of both the criminals as “most wanted” and are in contact with the police forces outside the state including their Bihar counterparts for circulation of the photos to ascertain facts.
Two phone numbers 91847407779, 919435343273 have also been released for the public. Any person coming in contact, having sight of the criminals may dial these numbers.
It may be mentioned that on September 12th, 2019 a man was shot at by “a gang of hired criminals” in the busy streets of Kumarpara area. The injured Shyam Sundar Ratawa succumbed to his bullet injuries at the GNRC Hospital, Six Mile at around 7:30 pm.
Post the incident a fear psychosis had gripped the city.
