    Lockdown21 Kickstarts Grocery Home Delivery In Guwahati

    Plans to expand to other parts of the state as well

    In order to cope up with the growing need of essential food items in Guwahati during the ongoing lockdown due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), an “online-store” has been launched by the name lockdown21.in covering all accessible areas of GUWAHATI city.

    The store can be reached through any web browser and order as per requirement.
    The store as of now provides ORGANIC VEGETABLES, freshly processed CHICKEN and local FISH at price fixed by the district administration.

    The store at present is serving most areas of the city and the delivery is free.
    The store is among the very few government authorized vendors following all the guidelines set by all the concerned authorities and they comply all government norms.

    As the name itself suggests, the main objective of this company is to deliver at your doorsteps to avoid people to people contact in these tough times of the global pandemic.

    According to the owners of the portal, their main objective is not business but to help the dying farms and farmers too.

    “It is more for a social cause and less on profitability. Moreover, this company wants to be a helping hand to the Government in maintaining social distancing to prevent the spread of this deadly virus”, they added.

    They added that the delivery persons will go through a thorough medical test to make sure he is totally fit and healthy. The packing procedure is also supervised by an experienced research scientist and other advisers from Food Safety Authorities.

    They further aim to “keep the services running” in other parts of the state as well and very soon a dedicated app will be launched.

    The owners added, “Our prime focus is SAFELY CONVENIENCE & QUALITY and it is not only our punch line but our real motive behind floating the online store. So Stay Home, we will deliver.”
