    Major Reshuffle In Assam Police

    Guwahati, August 1, 2019

    The Assam Government has made a major reshuffle in the state police department on August 1st, 2019. Issuing an order undersigned by Kumar Sanjay Krishna, additional chief secretary to the government of Assam, Home (A) Department, the government has transferred and posted nine police officers.

    The Hailakandi Superintendent of Police (SP) Mohneesh Mishra has been transferred and posted as SP, CM’s SVC while Deputy Commissioner of Police (East), Guwahati Ramandeep Kaur has been transferred and posted as Assistant Inspector General of Police (L).

    On the other hand, Assistant IGP (R), Guwahati, Ranjan Bhuyan has been transferred and posted as DCP (East), Guwahati while Mihirjyoti Gayan, SP, CM’s SVC has been transferred and posted as SP, SB (SOU).

    Pabindra Kr Nath, DCP (Administration), Guwahati has been transferred and posted as Hailakandi SP while Assistant IGP (L) Ripul Das has been transferred and posted as DCP (Central), Guwahati.

    Guwahati Central DCP Dharmendra Kumar Das has been transferred and posted as IGP (R) while DIGP (Security) Devojyoti Mukherjee has been transferred and posted as DIGP (Border).
