In a tragic incident, one person went missing after a country-made boat capsized in Jaji river in Assam’s Mariani on September 29th, 2019. The incident took place near Rangkham village. The missing person is Ranjit Mura.
As per information, three persons were crossing the river to Halowating in Sivasagar district. Mura, one of the passengers, went missing after the boat capsized in the river.
However, the State Disaster Response Force personnel have not reached the spot
