Manipur: Timber, Narcotics worth 4cr seized by Assam Rifles

Guwahati: Assam Rifles troops seized drugs and timber worth Rs 4cr in separate operations, official said on Sunday.

On Saturday, Assam Rifles in Churachandpur’s Selshi village intercepted a drug peddler and recovered 350 grams of narcotic drugs worth Rs 1.40 crore.

Meanwhile, in another operation, Assam Rifles intercepted two trucks carrying illegal timber worth Rs 2.60 crore on Sunday.
