Guwahati: Meghalaya chief minister Conrad K Sangma took the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine at Civil Hospital in Shillong on Friday.
Taking to Twitter, the minister also urged the frontline workers and senior citizens to take the vaccine for their protection.

Meanwhile, Meghalaya reported two new COVID-19 cases on Thursday pushing the Coronavirus tally in the state to 13,985.
The state has now 20 active COVID-19 cases as of Thursday. The death toll in the state is 148.
