    Meghalaya CM Sangma tests positive for COVID-19; under home isolation

    Urging the people who came in contact with him to watch on their health, the CM said he is under home isolation.

    Guwahati: Meghalaya chief minister Conrad Sangma on Friday said that he had tested positive for the COVID-19 virus.

    The minister said he is under home isolation and experiencing mild symptoms. He also urged the people who came in contact with him to keep a watch on their health.

    Taking to Twitter, he wrote: “I have tested positive for #Covid_19. I am under home isolation and experiencing mild symptoms. I request all those who came in contact with me in the past 5 days to kindly keep a watch on their health and if necessary get tested. Stay safe.”
