Guwahati: Meghalaya has reported 101 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday, taking the tally to 95,386, according to official.
With this, the total number of active cases rose to 724.
Meanwhile, 74 more people were cured of the disease, taking the total number of recoveries to 93,057.
However, Meghalaya has recorded 1,605 deaths so far.
The West Garo Hills, which include Tura, reported the most new cases on Saturday with 42, the district had the most active cases in the state with 421.
The East Khasi Hills, including the capital Shillong, the total number of active cases stood at 118.
As per an official, the district logged 25 fresh cases of infection, followed by South Garo Hills at 10 in the last 24 hours.
