The exam papers of the ongoing Meghalaya Teachers’ Eligibility Test (MTET) got allegedly leaked out on January 31st, 2019, which created a huge hue and cry among the concerned persons who were about sit in the exam on February 1st, 2019.
Following the incident, advocate Sofi Kamrul Hussain filed an FIR on the matter at the Tura Police Station on January 31st, 2019. Some people also came with a revelation that 100 per cent of the leaked questions were a part of the leaked question paper.
After the FIR was lodged, the superintendent of police, West Garo Hills said that a cyber expert has already been roped in and necessary steps are taken to identify the culprits.
