Guwahati: Assam minister and Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) president Atul Bora on Sunday lashed at Congress party by comparing the party with the infamous Bollywood villain ‘Mogambo’.
Bora made the statement in front of the media persons on the sidelines of an AGP meet at Teok in Upper Assam.
During his speech at the convention, the minister also compared the Congress party with Coronavirus and said that the party is bigger virus than the COVID-19, which has killed lakhs across the globe.
The Congress party is bigger virus than Coronavirus. They are trying to tie up with the AIUDF to revive themselves, but that will be to no avail, Bora added.
At the same meet, the AGP leader also compared the party to a circus tiger saying that its ring master is in Delhi.
Bora’s attack on the Congress comes amid criticism levelled at his own party from its faithful for stitching an alliance with the BJP party, which has earned the wrath of regional organisations for its resolve to enact the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).
It is noted that the AGP leader has been targeting the Congress party at various meetings, criticizing the party at every possible event.
Earlier in December, Minister Atul Bora termed the Congress-AIUDF alliance as the start of ‘Second Kalyug’.
