    Miscreants silt throat of businessman in Guwahati city

    The deceased person identified as Saidul Haque (47) was residing here in Guwahati as a tenant

    Guwahati: In a shocking incident, few unidentified miscreants silted the throat of a businessman from a minority community at six-mile area of Guwahati city on Saturday night.

    As per sources, the businessman while returning back to his home after shutting down his store reportedly got involved in a scuffle with some unidentified miscreants nearby his residence. Later, the miscreants silted his throat with a sharp weapon and escaped from the spot.

    Sources informed that the deceased person identified as Saidul Haque (47) was residing here in Guwahati as a tenant.

    So far none have been arrested in connection to the matter; however, the police investigation is on.
