‘Misguided’ Assam Youths Formed Moran Militant Outfit: Seven Returned
GUWAHATI: At least seven Assam youths who had floated a new militant outfit of Moran National Liberation Front (MNLF) have surrendered before Tinsukia police on Wednesday.
The group included minors also.

MNLF was formed recently under the leadership of one Raktim Moran. Two other youths who were missing for over a month from Tinsukia had also joined the outfit.
Assam special director general of police GP Singh said that they would be appropriately given counseling and wherever needed, action in accordance with law would also be taken.
Earlier, a joint operation was launched by both Assam and Arunachal Pradesh police was carried out against the newly formed outfit.
