‘Modi, Modi, Modi!’ Reverberates In BJP Office In Guwahati

Guwahati, May 23, 2019

As the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is surging towards landslide victory, Assam state BJP president Ranjeet Kumar Dass on May 23rd, 2019 termed the win as historic and extended his gratitude to the people for believing in the party. He has congratulated the people of India for their mandate.

Dass was greeted by thousands of party workers, who gathered at the party’s headquarter located in Hengrabari in Guwahati to celebrate the party’s stellar victory in the Lok Sabha elections 2019.  The workers’ showers flowers on Dass and they chanted ‘Modi, Modi’ in unison. Dass was also felicitated with a phulam gamusa by the party workers.

Addressing a presser here on May 23rd, 2019, Das said, “It is a historic day for our party as we are winning the Lok Sabha election with an absolute mandate. This has been possible because the people believed in us.”

He added, “The people of India have given a strong mandate to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to lead the country for the next five years. It is a victory for new India.”

The BJP office in Guwahati was been decked up by the party workers who started celebrating the party’s win from the noon with sweets and firecrackers.

It may be mentioned that it was the first time in more than three decades that a single party won the majority on its own. The party’s parliamentary board is expected to meet on May 23rd, 2019 evening at the party headquarters where Prime Minister Modi is likely to make a speech addressing the party workers.

As per the latest leads, the BJP-led NDA is surging ahead with leads on 343 Lok Sabha seats, while the Congress led by Rahul Gandhi may not even cross the 100-seat mark.
