More express special trains to and from Assam restored by NF Railway
Guwahati: In a major decision taken by the Northeast Frontier Railways (NFR), it has been decided to restore the services of at least ten more special trains to and from Assam in NF Railway from the month of June till further advice in addition to earlier Specials for the benefit of passengers who are in need of travel.
Among these specials are
train between Kamakhya and Bhagat Ki Kothi,
train between Kamakhya and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra,
train between Kamakhya and Ranchi,
train between Silghat and Kolkata,
train between Kamakhya and Delhi Anandbihar,
train between Dibrugarh and Chandigarh,
train between Guwahati and Okha
train between Kamakhya and Gaya,
train between Guwahati and Secundrabad,
and another train between Kamakhya and Puri
As per existing path, timings, scheduled days of run, stoppages and composition notified. The service of these trains has been suspended more than one year since April, 2020.
The NFR also appealed to the passengers to see these details before undertaking their journey.
Notably, on arrival at their destination, the passengers will have to adhere to prevailing health protocols of the destination state.
All passengers are requested to co-operate with the railway and respective state government officials in this.
