Multiple police plaints lodged against Satya Ranjan Borah over derogatory

Guwahati: All Assam Minorities Student Union ( AAMSU ) Golaghat unit on Monday lodged a complaint against controversial right-wing leader Satya Ranjan Borah over his alleged derogatory remarks against a minority community and its religious guru Prophet Muhammad on social media.

The post was reportedly deleted by Satya Ranjan Borah after netizens started trolling him on the social media platforms.

Interestingly, a section of Facebook users has shared the screenshot of the alleged derogatory post tagging the right-wing leader on social media.

Meanwhile, AAMSU has claimed that Borah is trying to disrupt the peace and harmony in the region through his alleged derogatory ideologies and statements.

The minority group further demanded his arrest within the next 24 hours.

Update: AAMSU Bongaigaon unit and Kalgachia unit has also lodged a police complaint against Satya Ranjan Borah in their respective areas.

Similarly, the National Students’ Union of India Kalgachia has also lodged a complaint at Kalgachia Police Station.
