Guwahati: The NorthEast United FC (NEUFC) has roped in Jamaican striker Deshorn Brown from Bengaluru FC to their frontline attack on Friday.
Brown has made the move having scored seven goals in 20 appearances for Bengaluru since joining the Indian Super League club in 2020.
Earlier Brown has plied his trade in the USA, Norway, China, Spain, having played for Colorado Rapids, DC United and Shenzen FC to name a few.
The striker has also featured for the Jamaican national team with two goals in 14 outings for the Reggae Boyz.
Speaking on the signing, NEUFC Deshorn Brown executive director Priya Runchal said, “Deshorn brings with him the experience of playing in the top leagues across the world as well as knowledge of Indian football. Both of which is incredibly valuable during this stage of the Hero ISL. We are confident that he will hit the ground running and will have an impact on the team as we look to push for a playoff spot.”
