A 5-year-old boy donated his entire piggy bank savings to the Meghalaya Chief Minister’s Relief Fund on August 27th, 2019. L. Mayan Nongbri visited Chief Minister Conrad Sangma’s residence on August 27th, 2019 and donated his piggy bank savings.
Sangma took to his Facebook page to appreciate this kind gesture of Mayan and thanked him for his selflessness and kindness. The Chief Minister said that Mayan’s act is a reminder that an ‘act of kindness, no matter how small, is never insignificant’.
Sangma wrote, “We had a special visitor at our residence this morning, meet L. Mayan Nongbri. Mayan, aged 5, came to me with his piggy bank and donated his entire savings towards the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
