The High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education Assam (SEBA), will be held from February 10th to February 29th, 2020.
The HSLC Examination 2019 started from February 14. Around 3.57 lakh students appeared in the examinations held in 857 centres in 2019.

Writing in black ink has been made mandatory for examinees as it was done in the previous examination. The examination will be under the surveillance of the circuit television cameras.
In a bid to make the students future-ready, the SEBA will introduce Commerce as an elective subject for class IX and X students starting from 2020 and 2021 respectively.
