Rasna Ripped? Meghalaya Police React In Sacred Games Way To Take A Dig At Drug Peddlers

The Meghalaya Police took the internet by storm with their hilarious tweet on drug peddlers selling Rasna powder in Shillong market by taking a cue from Netflix series Sacred Games

The Mumbai Police and Assam Police are known for their savage tweets which often leave the netizens in splits. This time, the Meghalaya Police is in full action as they took the internet by storm with their hilarious tweet on drug peddlers selling Rasna powder in Shillong market by taking a cue from Netflix series Sacred Games.

After making the tweeple laugh their heart out on ‘Rasna’ tweet, on August 17th, 2019, Meghalaya police came up with another humour-filled tweet using a dialogue of Bunty, a character in Sacred Games Season 2, showing the current situation of drug peddlers in Shillong.

Bunty played by actor Jatin Sarna is seen saying in one of the episodes of the popular web series, “Yahan Parle-G khana pad raha hain kali chai mein dubokar” which perfectly symbolizes the current feelings of drug peddlers. “Ye khel hum sabse bada hain! #DrugsFreeMeghalaya,” tweeted Meghalaya Police.

On August 15th, 2019, the Meghalaya police tweeted about the current scarce drug situation in the state where drug peddlers are fooling their clients by selling with Rasna powder. The Meghalaya Police won the hearts with their kickass witty tweet about drug addicts being ‘Rasna Ripped.’

The drug peddlers in Shillong are selling Rasna powder disguised as drugs to the addicts due to the scarcity in the market.

The tweet reads, “SCAM ALERT! *clears throat* Shillong market is so dry that peddlers are fooling their clients with Rasna(!?) Powder. If you just got ‘Rasna Ripped’ off by your drug peddler, you know where to report. Kudos to ANTF team!”

Minutes after it was posted, tweeps couldn’t help but laugh out loud and hailed the department for their on-point sense of humour. Here are some of the reactions:
