The Biswanath police on May 4th, 2019 rescued two minor girls, who were allegedly kept under house arrest, near the Arunachal Pradesh-China border.

As per reports, the minor girls went to Chirang located in Arunachal Pradesh with their parents in search for work. However, due to unavoidable circumstances, the parents had to leave both their girls behind which led to the house arrest of the girls.

“We returned to Behali a few days back and filed an FIR with the Gingiya police. Accordingly, the police launched a massive search operation on May 1st, 2019 and after four days they were successfully rescued from Arunachal Pradesh,” said the mother of one of the rescued girls.
