    BJP MLA Terash Gowalla Allegedly Assaults On-Duty Traffic Constable In Guwahati

    He parked his vehicle at no-parking zone. I did my duty: Bishnu Bora

    Ruling Bharatiya Janata Party’s Duliajan Legislator Terash Gowalla on February 25th, 2020, allegedly assaulted an on-duty traffic police constable at Chandmari area in the city.

    The constable has been identified as Bishnu Bora of Chandmari Police Station.

    As per information, the MLA parked his vehicle in the no-parking zone in the area for which the traffic constable locked the vehicle.

    “I locked the vehicle at around 1 pm today for parking in a no-parking zone. I was doing my duty,” Bora said.

    Later, the senior officers reached the incident spot and fined the MLA. “Court will decide the amount of fine,” an officer said.
