    NFR to run short distance Spl. Trains from this month

    The details of stoppages and timings of these trains are available on Railway's website

    GUWAHATI: The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has decided to run some short distance special trains in addition to the long-distance special trains that are in operation.

    For the convenience of local rail commuters, services of some short distance special trains will be resumed from this month.

    Among these short distances special trains, two pairs of special trains from Rangiya to New Tinsukia and Ledo; one pair each of daily special trains between Lumding – Tinsukia and Guwahati – Dibrugarh Town; one pair DEMU special between Siliguri Jn and Dhubri and one pair of special train between Alipurduar Jn and Silghat Town via Dhubri will be run.

    The details of stoppages and timings of these trains are available on Railway’s website and passengers were requested to see these details and follow the COVID-19 protocols being notified by the state governments before undertaking their journey.
