NFR to run weekly summer special train between Guwahati – Yesvantpur
Guwahati: To clear the extra rush of passengers, the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has decided to run one weekly summer special train between Guwahati and Yesvantpur (Bangalore) from April 24, 2021.
The summer special train will run from April 24 to April 25 leaving Yesvantpur at 22:00 hours on Friday to reach Guwahati at 04:00 hours on Monday.
In its return direction, the special train will run from April 26 to April 28 leaving Guwhaati at 19:35 hours on Monday to reach Yesvantpur at 01:30 hours on Thursday.
The NRF in a release informed that the train will run via New Bongaigaon, Malda Town, New Jalpaiguri Jn, Rampurhat, Bhubneshwar, Vishakapatnam, Secundrabad, etc. It will also have general second class, sleeper class, AC-3 tier, and AC-2 tier accommodations for the convenience of passengers.
It is also mentioned that passengers should travel with minimum luggage and wear face covers/masks at the stations and trains during travel. Passengers are also asked to observe social distancing both at the station and on trains.
