    No COVID-19 tests for recovered patients arriving in Assam

    Any person who has previously tested positive for COVID-19 and subsequently tested negative, need not undergo Rapid Antigen and RT-PCR testing on arrival in Assam by air, road and railways

    Guwahati: The Assam Government issued fresh Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) on Tuesday for passengers arriving in Assam.

    According to the SOP, any person who has previously tested positive for COVID-19 and subsequently tested negative, need not undergo Rapid Antigen and RT-PCR testing on arrival in Assam by air, road and railways.

    It is also mentioned that further recovered persons shall not undergo quarantine or isolation upon arrival.

    These guidelines are applicable to all the passengers arriving in the state by air, road and railways.
