Singing sensation and heartthrob of the young generation Zubeen Garg reiterating his opposition against the enacted Citizenship Amendment Act(CAA) on January 6th, 2020 took to his social media to ask Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal regarding his view on the contentious CAA.
The singer said that he always supports a leader’s “good work” and suggested that the AAP leader need not spend millions of rupees in the name of poll expenditure but continue to indulge in working for the development of the people.
“I thank my brother n comrade Vishal Dadlani for being concerned about valid reasons. Also, I would like to share my regards to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. I am always with good work. Make schools and hospitals and I believe, you don’t need to spend crores of money to campaign for elections. Will look up to Kejriwal’s view regarding CAA as well.” Zubeen wrote on his Facebook handle.
It may be mentioned that Kejriwal on January 4th, 2020 thanked Garg for supporting his government’s development initiatives. Earlier the singer was seen praising Kejriwal for the work done by the AAP government in Delhi and urged for a party like AAP in Assam.
