A National People’s Party (NPP) worker has been killed by a suspected Isak-Muivah faction of the National Socialist Council of Nagaland (NSCN-IM) member at a village in Arunachal Pradesh on March 29th, 2019.
As per reports, Jaley Anna and his friend Kham Nai Abhi, both NPP workers, were assaulted by one Eli Kethak at Kheti village in Tirap district. While Anna died on the spot, Abhi has been admitted to a hospital.
Anna was a supporter of NPP candidate Tirong Aboh, who is contesting from Khonsa West assembly seat. An FIR has been lodged at Khonsa police station.
