    One Dies In Lahorighat After Being Hit By Car

    The police are now investigating the issue

    Amidst the lockdown, a person in Morigaon’s Lahorighat died after he was hit by a car on Wednesday.

    The deceased person has been identified as Dulu Deka of Bhuragaon. As per information available, the person was going to the shop when a sedan which was allegedly coming at very high speed ran over him.

    Dulu Deka died on the spot and the vehicle (bearing registration AS21H2776) that hit him lost control and rolled over.

    Deka was initially taken to the hospital but the doctors declared him dead and later he was sent for post-mortem.

    The police are now investigating the issue.
